The simple lines, rounder and blunt corners reflect the basic tools used by the village artisans. The fine detailed pieces come from Germany which has the finest reputation for creating some of the finest and most intricate gemstones carving in the world. The smooth curves and high vitreous polish were enabled by the use of more advanced diamond tools and techniques using finer polishing powder and lathes. <br /> <br /> You will find gemstones carvings from US$1 to a few thousand dollars that are listed. A fantastic rare Burmese Buddha amber carving was recently sold for US$7000.00! The piece was a breath taking beautiful piece and a old carving from about 70 years ago.
